Lucas has been performing since the ripe old age of 11, and hasn’t taken a break since! After performing on stage as Ensemble in shows such as “Babes in Toyland”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “Carousel”, “Footloose”, “Man of La Mancha”, and numerous other musicals he decided it was time to take his love of music and musicals and try his hand at playing percussion in the orchestra of three different productions of “The Wiz” in 2000/2001. This worked out perfectly since he loves playing drums and hates dancing. Since that time Lucas has played percussion/drums for 30+ musical productions across Southern California (but mostly at the Cultural Arts Center in Simi Valley), including “The Full Monty”, “The Producers”, “Hair”, “Guys and Dolls”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Ragtime”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Anything Goes”, “The Music Man”, and the list goes on and on (and on)! For the past year Lucas has also devoted every last Sunday of the month to perform in “The High Street Broadcast” in Moorpark, CA which has helped to shape him as a musician in many different ways.
