Wanting to create a radio variety troupe consisting of the very best talent in Ventura County Theater, Dev Connors set out in 2007 to bring to the stage a show that would not only showcase and challenge each performer involved, but would bring new works to local theater audiences. The show became The High Street Broadcast and after five years and 35 episodes of sketch comedy, original songs and fantastic audio theater, Dev is happy to say that the group has grown to be a family and each episode a wonderful memory. These memories can be shared every week as the HSB is heard on various stations on the radio dial and on the web.
Devlin continues to look forward to the Broadcast‘s next adventure. There are still many stories and songs to write, still many characters to introduce. So Dev and the HSB team will continue to dream forward, move upward and unveil that special brand of magic that lies within every tale they tell.
